There are electronic medical record apps for android in order to help expedite the paperwork process in Medicine. Android and several 3rd party retailers have developed applications that can be used by doctors and nurses in order to read their medical records right off of their Smartphone. Why carry around stacks of charts when you can easily pull up all of your patient’s information, history, or even x-rays and get everything that you need right in the convenience of your phone.

Not every medical facility is equipped with the ability to read the medical charts or records off of the Smartphone. There is an adapter that must be purchased by the medical facility and connected in with their current medical record system and server. The facility will of course also need to have Wi-Fi capabilities as well. While it may seem like a difficult system to set-up the amount of time and stress it saves is well worth the money spent.
