Recently, Samsung sent out invitations to everyone asking them to “come and meet the next galaxy” in their unpacked event that will held in London on May 3rd. This is likely the best chance for Samsung to unveil their flagship phone. Going by the rumors, we have a few expectations that we would like to see in the next Galaxy flagship.
- QuadCore Processor – Its been a year since the dual Core Samsung Galaxy S2 was released and it is time for the quad core phones to take over. HTC have already released their One X (QuadCore) and Samsung would like to hit back at them with their Samsung Galaxy S3. The Quadcore processor is expected to be placed on NVidia Tegra 3 chipset.
- Ceramic Build – Going away from the plastic build, Samsung have decided to skip the usual metal unibody that iPhone is known for and they are going for a completely new Ceramic build. Expectations are the ceramic material will make the phone 5 times stronger and harder.
- Wireless Charging – This is the best and most anticipated part of the rumors. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is expected to come with wireless charging out of the box. Rumors claim that the phone will have to be at a distance of 2m from the wall to be able to charge over the air.
- LTE Radio on Chip – Another of those rumors claim that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will have LTE Radio on the processor chip. Samsung claims that this will greatly improve the battery life over other LTE phones.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is expected to make its appearance on May 3rd. Except the unexpected.
